About
Are you having a hard time making ESL choices?
You are not alone many students just like you spend countless hours searching the internet looking for answers.
I’m here to help you and to guide you on this challenging journey
You’ve decided to learn English. You have chosen to sacrifice both time and money. Some of you even put your lives on hold to travel to a foreign country in order to pursue your goal. That first decision was just the beginning you still have many more important choices to make. You want to learn English, but which school should you go to, what textbook or audio course is best? How can you decide what’s best for you?
That in a nutshell is your number one problem.
Understanding English is exactly what is required to best judge your English learning tools. But how do you judge them if you don’t understand English? Answer: You need someone to help you, someone to sift through all the clutter and point out all the golden nuggets for you.
So Now What?
My name is David Dalton (some call me Mr. D). That is the basic question I asked myself about how to help people who have decided to learn English. No matter what your current English level or future goals you need to know what to do next.
Let’s say your a student who has decided to travel abroad to study. Well you’ve made the decision to go, but there are many extremely important decisions still to be made. How long should you stay? Where, when, how etc. it’s a lot to think about. The success of your studies and how much you will enjoy the trip rests on these decisions.
Or maybe, you can’t up and leave your country, you have responsibilities that you must take care of like family, job etc. You want to improve your English but you do not have the time to travel internationally for a year. You want to study from home. So Now What? Good question, I’m glad you asked.
I created ESL Toronto.net to answer the question “So Now What?”
Just so we’re clear, I am not here to replace your school but rather to be an extension of your school and to provide an option for those who cannot attend a school. There are many outstanding schools here in Toronto and throughout the world and I encourage you to attend. I can help you to get ready, encourage you along the way and be there when you’re finished, to help you decide “So Now What?”
You need the right tools for the right job. You wouldn’t screw in a light bulb with a hammer right? Ha, Ha, Okay maybe some of you. All kidding aside you need the books, schools, tutor’s and other learning aids that are best for you.
I will seek out and equip you the ESL student (it doesn’t matter how old you are or if you go to a school, if you’re studying then you’re a student) with the best supplemental learning aids currently available. No matter if your preparing for international study, returning or staying at home, I can help. I spent each and everyday seeking out the best tools and programs to see that you achieve your goals.
